Opening "VA Studio"
On March, the construction of the studios had begun. Until we moved to Hanam, we had one month to prepare. Me and my team designed detailed diagrams of three virtual studios and trained new Disguise Renderstream pipeline. Equipments to be used in the Hanam studios began to arrive one by one, and my team trained how to use them through documentation, online tutorials and zoom meetings. While we were studying ROE LED panels, Brompton Tessera control and Disguise-related systems such as Mo-sys Startracker, Blacktrax, DMX light console, also tested new version of nDisplay plugins cause we decided to use two types of solutions at the site. Studio 1 and 2 to use Disguise system, and Studio 3 to use nDisplay.
When the construction of the exterior of the studios was finished, my team sent the flight cases with LED panels in them and the equipments that arrived in advance, then moved to Hanam in mid-April. It was a huge challenge to complete the installation of whole systems of three studios, to test and prepare for a opening show for only 6 weeks.
LED panels were installed one by one in the order of 1-2-3 studios, and as soon as LEDs were installed, we installed the server room, operater’s desks, chairs, monitors, cameras and track markers.
For the first project in the studios, we prepared both pre-recorded show and a live show. For the pre-recorded show, A online commerse show was shot on Studio 1 and four short films were shot in Studio 2. I was the main operator of Disguise systems and supervised the stage operation of both shoots. There were four short episodes shot in Studio 2:

At the end of May, construction of all three studios were completed and started the opening shows in live. The visiting events were held in the form of participatory, visitors watchinig pre-recorded shows and also experiencing the film scene with actors on set. The event continued for over a month, every day, and numerous companies including investments companies, the press and media companies visited. I went around three studios and supervised my team to run the shows without any technical issues.
